3. No Image, CSS only:

Do not use much more images on home page. Always design and colorize your blog with CSS instead of image. Some blogs use image thumbnails on home page to create an attractive looking but it affects on page load time. Maximum 5-7 images are recommended on home page.

4. No Javascript, CSS only:

Do not use unnecessary java scripts to load archives, contact forms etc, try to design with CSS only.

5. Single CSS file:

No need to use several CSS files for your blog. Only one CSS can design your blog perfectly. I have noticed some blogs have used more than one CSS files for design. It generally increase blog’s page load time. Use only one CSS with well structured attributes.

6. No Third Party Badges:

Reduce the use of third party script, widget, badges etc. The third party badges like Techonorati, Blog Catalog, Facebook fan generally access all of its resources from home site and that’s why it takes much times to load.

7. No unnecessary Plugins:

If you are running on wordpress, leave the habit to unnecessary use plugins while the job can be done by simple CSS code.

8. No more Add Script:
