Free Upload files Automatically with Dropbox

What is Dropbox:

It is an upto 2GB free file hosting service but is slightly different than the others. Dropbox has the facility to automatically synchronize your files from local hard drive to the web. Do not understand? very simple it would provide you a freeware for installing in your PC. Once installed, a local directory “My Dropbox” would be created in My Documents. Thereafter just move the local files to that directory that you want to upload to your Dropbox account in the web.

What is the Advantage of using Dropbox over the others:

1. A few services provide upto 2GB free file hosting along with a pretty fast server.

2. No need to manually upload files one by one.

3. While you are offline, you can still move files to “My Dropbox” directory for upload in later.

First check out the block diagram to understand how Dropbox works.

Check out the steps details to access Dropbox:

Logon to Dropbox homesite and click on the “Download Dropbox” link. It would provide you a freeware that you have to install and thereafter a folder “My Dropbox” would be created in My Documents of your local PC. This folder would automatically get synchronized to your Dropbox account. Once you have moved a file in that local directory, it would be automatically uploaded to your dropbox account in the web. Deleting can be done in same manner. After installing the freeware create a free account by clicking on “I have not an account” option otherwise it can’t work.
