How to Check a Domain Availability without Visiting any Site

In these days you can easily grab a domain for free from the popular domain providers like Godaddy, One&one etc.  So now many of us are spending a lot in some domain checking sites to check a domain available or not. But sometimes it becomes very boring and compels us to get some tools to check a domain availability from desktop instead of visiting a site.

I was also searching for such a tool and finally got it today. It’s a freeware AnalogX WhoIS Ultra with a simple, tiny interface. No need to visit any site or opening your browser, just install it and get the details of a domain instantly.

You can get the WHOIS record of any registered domain with creation date. Besides it provides you the site owner’s details so that you can directly contact him from here. Of course, it accesses all the resources from internet so stay connected while checking a domain.

Once after installing open the application. It shows up a small window, put the domain name at right top of the window and click on Lookup to start the search.

It will show you Registered for not available otherwise Available.

Now once if you found a domain Registered, get the WHOIS details by clicking on “Report>Generate Detailed Report” at menu bar. WHOIS record will be shown in your default browser.

And if you found a good name is still available, just reach to your trusted domain provider and get it hurry as you know a good domain never left for long days.

First visit to the website link and put your site URL without “http://www” in the specified box. If you have any other domains or sub-domains, put these in the box. Enter the file extensions in the specified box at below that you want to protect from hot-linking.

Finally click on “Generate Code” button to get the final code. Copy/Paste it in your .htaccess file (may be blank or existing) under root directory. From now whenever someone will try to use your image, it will show broken.
