Setup your Home Theater in Windows XP

If you have a home theatre and does not produce fine sound with your XP operating system then I have a solution of it. It is a simple windows trick. Microsoft provides you Xp sound setting for home theatre but your job is to enable the option. It will be done from the Sound option in Control Panel. Just follow the steps below and finish the job…

Procedure to Setup your PC audio for Home Theater:

1. Go to the Control Panel and click on Sound, Speech, Audio devices (In XP).

2. Now Click on Change the speaker settings.

3. An another window will be opened. Click on the Advanced option at the bottom pane of that window.

4. It will show you the main setting window. Look at the bottom side. There is a dropdown menu containing 8-9 special sound settings for different sound equipments. Here you will find the option for Home theater. Click on it and hit Apply then OKbutton.

Thus you setting is complete. Now switch on your Home Theater and listen the changes.
