Pause Your Computer after Specified Time
Share

Today we are going to describe about the application of a software Work Pause which can pause your computer after a specified time. Sometimes it becomes very essential to pause the running programs after a prefixed time interval. The software I am talking about is absolutely very useful and working perfectly. I have tested it. You can change the time interval as per your choice. After the specified time the software will automatically lock down your PC and pause all the running programs. Just before lock down, it alerts with a beep-beep sound. After a few seconds there will appear an Unlock option. You can unlock your PC by clicking on it.

When You Need It:

  • You want to lock down your PC after completing some downloads.
  • You have forgotten an emergency job due to the addiction of internet.
  • You have to go to outside leaving your computer running.

Procedure to  Work with WorkPause:

1. Download and install the software Work Pause.

2. After installing the application it will automatically get minimized to system tray with default setting (by default it will pause your computer in 20 minutes).

3. Open the application from system tray. It will show you the main window. Click on the option Times in the toolbar  to change the time interval.

4. Look at just below of menubar, there is an  Once every option under Short Breaks category. Now follow the corresponding row of Once Breaks. At the right side there is an option to change the time interval (By default it is 20 minutes) . Change it as your choice. Click on OK.

4. Now the window will get minimized to system tray and it will display the time counting. After the new inserted time it will lock your computer automatically.

5. After the specified  Work  Pause time interval you will get an Unlock button. Click on it to unlock.

6. To change the locking alert sound click on Sound in the menubar. Just below of this menubar there are 3 tabs more for changing the sound. Select any one tab and click on the browse option(Just right side of the tab). Thus change the sound by clicking on the OK button. Remember it only supports wmv audio.
