1. Download and install the software.
2. Open the application.
3. Once opened, by default it would automatically start to monitor www.yahoo.com. The monitoring result would be shown in the right bottom side of the window with graph. You can get the connection details by clicking on “Details” option.
4. Now you have to replace the default URL with your site’s URL. Look at the toolbar, there will be an option “Monitoring Item“, click on it and then follow the path “Monitoring Item/New/HTTP”.
5. A dialog box would open to prompt you whether you wish to continue the trial version or not. Click ”Continue” to proceed. An another window would open with a URL changing tab
6. Look at the top of the window. There is a “Monitoring Item Name” tab. Now enter a project name and your site URL in “Monitoring URL” tab. Click on “Save” at the bottom to continue.
7. Thus the software would automatically start to monitor your website and provide you the status details . Not only server connection, you are still able to check FTP, TCP, Database, SMTP, Ping etc.
It also facilitates you to set an automatic mail alert when your site will go down.
